Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. He began his career with performances in television shows like Opposite Sex in 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans is also seen in film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers/Captain America is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019 brought him greater fame. He became one of the highest paid actors around the globe because of his work for the Marvel series.
